How does spending your summer at a luxury beach club in New York sound? At Discovery Land Company, we’re looking for friendly, hard-working people to join our server team for the 2026 season. We don’t just “run food”—we create a high-end, relaxed home-away-from-home for our members.

What the job is really like
You’ll be part of a team that keeps the “Discovery Experience” alive. A typical shift involves:
- Being the Face of the Club: Greet members by name, learn their favorite drinks, and help them have a perfect day at the beach.
- Knowing Your Stuff: You’ll need to be an expert on our menu, from the ingredients in our specials to being sharp on food allergies.
- Staying Active: You’ll be on the move—running plates, clearing tables, and making sure the dining areas look spotless.
- Keeping it Smooth: Accurately putting orders into the system and chatting with the kitchen to make sure everything comes out just right.
Who we’re looking for
- The Pros: You have at least 6 months of experience in a busy restaurant or club. You know how to balance three plates and a smile at the same time!
- The Energy: You’re positive, professional, and you don’t get stressed when the dining room is full.
- The Basics: You’re comfortable working on your feet for 4+ hours, can lift 50 lbs, and speak clear English.
- The Schedule: Summer is our busy time, so we need people who are ready to work weekends and holidays.
