Scholarships Available for International Students
1# APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship
This scholarship offers tuition fee reductions of 30%, 50%, 65%, 80%, and even 100%. The scholarship covers the entire duration of the degree, as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress. The scholarship is supported by APU, the Japanese Ministry of Education, and international companies and donors, helping outstanding students with financial constraints.
2# AP House Global Community Scholarship
For students who need support with housing, the AP House Global Community Scholarship offers a full waiver of AP House rent for up to 11 months. This scholarship is for students who demonstrate strong motivation to enroll at APU and commit to contributing positively to the AP House multicultural environment.
Eligibility Criteria
International applicants who plan to obtain a Japanese student residence visa are eligible. The application and evaluation process for both scholarships occur simultaneously through APU’s online system.
