Scholarships and Financial Support
Shenzhen University offers various scholarships to support international students:
- Guangdong Provincial Government Scholarship: RMB 30,000 per year.
- Shenzhen Universiade Scholarship: RMB 40,000 per year.
- Liyuan International Scholarship:
- First Class: Tuition waiver plus RMB 72,000/year living allowance (RMB 6,000/month).
- Second Class: Tuition waiver plus RMB 60,000/year living allowance (RMB 5,000/month).

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for these programs, applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports and in good physical and mental health.
- Hold a master’s degree or above. Those yet to graduate must provide a pre-graduation certificate and obtain their master’s degree before admission.
- Be under the age of 40.
- Meet language proficiency requirements: HSK Level 5 for programs taught in Chinese or proof of English proficiency for programs taught in English. Native speakers of Chinese or English may be exempted upon approval by the university.
